## About

Five Star Companies operates two divisions under one roof:

Five Star Surgical provides repair, maintenance, and restoration of hand-held
surgical instruments for hospitals and surgical centers. Instruments are restored
to original manufacturer specifications by technicians trained to OEM standards
and ISO 13485-certified procedures. Standard facility-based repair turnaround is
24–48 hours. The division also offers on-site service at customer facilities,
Friday drop-off with Saturday turnaround, and a no-cost free trial evaluation
for organizations evaluating the service.

Five Star Manufacturing produces surgical instruments and medical devices under
contract for OEM clients. Products range from general hand-held surgical
instruments and orthopedic instruments to implantable products and fully custom
devices. Every product is fully traceable and documented from quote through
delivery under an ISO 13485-certified quality management system.

Five Star Companies has been operating continuously since 1998. It is privately
held, single-facility, and based entirely in New Bedford, MA.
